A single volume of a language archive on audio CD may be purchased for $35.00 by check, payable to Carnegie Mellon University and mailed to the address below. Please specify the volume desired (ie French OLA Volume 1).
Single volume purchase allows for the use of the audio CD in that format only on a single machine. No digitizing or copying of any kind is permitted.

A site license for a single volume of a language archive may be purchased for $250.00. This allows for unlimited copying and reformatting of the dialogues of the licensed volume within a single institution. It does not allow for redistribution of OLA materials outside of the institution. Purchasers of site licenses receive an audio cd, plus a CD-ROM of CD quality linear files of the volume dialogues. Please specify the volume desired (ie Japanese OLA Volume 1).
At purchaser's request, the second CD of a site license purchase can be supplied with files in QuickTime format (see below).
Single volume Intranet license
An Intranet license for for a single volume of a language archive may be purchased for $100.00. Purchasers of this license receive a CD-ROM containing cross-platform compatible 16bit, 22K QuickTime files, compressed 4:1 using the IMA standard. They require the QuickTime plug-in to be played. Also included are .html documents which allow for the selection and play of all dialogues and the simultaneous viewing of transcript or translation. Please specify the volume desired (ie Spanish OLA Volume 1).
The license allows you to copy the contents of this CD-ROM to your WWW server and link to your existing pages. Access to OLA pages and sound files should be limited to institutional users, either through a domain limitation or through password access. Open Internet access is not permitted under the terms of this license.
