Mud Puddles

The night of glittering rain was yesterday

But I find its traces in mud puddles

(Rain, crumpled letter, and shivering)

Terribly spread, shapeless but colorful letters

And cacophony of the worldÕs steps
Grow into one in mud puddles

Over, my shadow is wet.

Before someone crushes it

I should pull it up with a twig

To my dear friends

Have you ever thought of my meaning...

Always I seek for meaning of myself, from you.

And I always wish for.

I wish to mean as much as a cup of water means to you.

Cool under a scorching sun

warm in front of sharp wind

Just about that much.

I want to be your sweat

So I can cool your fatigue down

I want to be your tears

So I can wash your sadness away

I may pass you by for a moment

Someday IÕll come back to you

As another cup of water.

Just like that.

A cup of water

That you can reach for whenever you need...
